Apollo was saved from a kill pen, hours before he was slated to die. Grossly underweight with skin problems, hoof problems, and gastrointestinal issues Apollo required a lot of ongoing medical attention. It took over a year of medical care, proper nutrition and exercise regimens to get him healthy and happy. Apollo has now entered in the show world in baby steps, he has proudly placed in the shows that he has competed in.
